**About Us:**

We are a leading SaaS Product company in Sydney, Australia, seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Director to lead our engineering team and drive technical strategy.

**Salary:** $220,000 - $230,000 per annum.

**Job Description:**

We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee the entire engineering lifecycle, from architecture and design to development and deployment. You will be responsible for:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to engineering teams on technical strategies and direction.
  • Team Management: Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing engineering teams to achieve their full potential.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with product teams to define and execute product roadmaps that meet business objectives.
  • Architecture and Design: Oversee the design and implementation of scalable and robust technical solutions that support business growth.
  • Infrastructure: Manage and optimize cloud and on-premises environments to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality software through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Strong Technical Background: Experience in C#.NET, SQL, and related technologies is essential.
  • Proven Leadership Experience: A proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams is required.
  • SaaS Experience: Experience working in a SaaS business environment is highly desirable.
  • Software Development Methodologies: Deep understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective leadership.
