The Role

As Match Day Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing game day operations to ensure seamless communications and high standards are met. To succeed in this role, you'll possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, technical savvy, and confidence in upholding procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup Score Table and Instant Replay System equipment.
  • Communicate with clubs regarding broadcast information and game day operations.
  • Conduct pre-game meetings with club Game Day Coordinators and Broadcast teams.
  • Ensure accurate venue accreditation signage and safety.
  • Oversee pre-game entertainment and activities meeting NBL Rules.
  • Manage direct communication on game operations issues with NBL HUB.
  • Liaise with Club Game Day Coordinators on referee and technical official matters.
  • Complete Match Reports.
Requirements
  • Effective communication and decision-making under pressure.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Rapid rapport building with Club Staff, NBL Staff, and Broadcast teams.
  • Knowledge of NBL Basketball Operations environment (desired).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and people orientation.
  • Able to pivot quickly and adapt in high-stress situations.
