The role of a Home Care Worker is a vital part of providing support and care to older members of our community. You will be working independently, but as part of a team, to deliver high-quality home help services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for clients, including making beds, cleaning floors, and washing laundry.
  • Caregiving: Providing personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to clients who require assistance.
  • Meal preparation: Preparing healthy meals and snacks for clients, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Social support: Engaging with clients in conversation, playing games, or participating in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 3 months experience in a similar professional role, preferably in aged care.
  • Qualifications: Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) and an Open class Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
