We are seeking a front-line leader who will play a critical role in maintaining a high level of operational performance, delivering commercial airplane components to support final assembly.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading a production team to achieve operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring safety standards are met and maintained in the production area.
This is an opportunity to join our advanced manufacturing site on a full-time permanent basis on day shift, based 100% onsite in Port Melbourne.
Responsibilities:- Manage and lead a production team to achieve operational KPIs
- Ensure safety standards are met and maintained in the production area
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with other leaders to maintain the operating rhythm of operations
- Track production metrics and report performance to senior management
- Proven experience leading, coaching and supporting teams in a complex manufacturing / factory environment in a front-line managerial or supervisory role
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with a range of stakeholders to collaborate and influence others to ensure program deliverables are achieved
- Experience and familiarity implementing Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions based on the data
