Manufacturing Craftsman

A leading agricultural manufacturer is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Craftsman to join its team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining high-quality machinery, working closely with the team to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting technical drawings for fabrication and commissioning.
  • Fabricating and assembling metal components for harvesters and farm machinery.
  • Upgrading and commissioning new equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Performing functional testing on new or modified harvesters.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment.
  • Maintaining workshop cleanliness and assisting with inventory management.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for workshop staff and contractors.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing role.
  • Qualification in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in commissioning agricultural machinery or heavy equipment is preferred but not essential.
  • A self-starter capable of working independently with initiative.
