About the Role

This position is responsible for supporting key Accounts Receivable administration duties, including payment allocations, lease terminations, and managing internal and external customer enquiries. The position also assists with the collection of outstanding debt and contacting customers where their debt has exceeded the due date of payment to negotiate payment timing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Timely payment allocations against open invoices in SAP, following up with customers to identify disputes and negotiate remediation plans
  • Ensuring vehicles are terminated in SAP within agreed timeframes upon receipt of end-of-lease payouts
  • Collecting on outstanding debts, negotiating with customers regarding overdue and disputed invoice amounts
  • Developing and maintaining productive relationships with internal teams, particularly with Commercial teams, to understand invoice disputes and agree outcomes on overdue accounts
  • Ensuring bespoke customer invoicing is sent on time and accurately, and processing direct debit/refunds
  • Addressing internal and external customer queries within agreed timeframes
Requirements
  • Reconciliation skills, G/L understanding, and effects of debits and credits and GST
  • Some knowledge of accounting and accounting systems
  • Solid Excel skills
  • Creates teamwork, is flexible, and maintains an organized, open, and approachable working style
  • Actively creates useful internal, external, and cross-functional relationships and negotiates strongly
  • Critically analyzes information and solves problems, demonstrating resourcefulness, perseverance, financial and legal astuteness, and accountability
