The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at ThompsonCook. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our debtor accounts and ensuring timely payment from our customers.

The Challenge

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately measuring debtor accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Preparing and allocating moneys to customer accounts for daily banking.
  • Monitoring and controlling credit hold on delinquent accounts.
  • Payment arrangements from delinquent accounts.
  • Assisting in the timely collection of overdue accounts and improving day-to-day cash flow.
  • Responding to customer enquiries and internal requests.
  • Liaising with bank and credit agencies.
  • Participating in quality improvement activities to promote continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Cash forecasting on a weekly basis.
  • PPSR Reporting Creditor Watch Reporting.
The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Background in a high volume Credit/AR position, ideally 2-3+ years' experience.
  • Experience using a large ERP system would be highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
