Operate and Optimize

Overview

Mackellar Group creates jobs in regional Queensland, and we are looking for an individual to operate and optimize the movement of haul trucks, excavators, and ancillary equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, assign, and adjust fleet allocations to ensure smooth operational flow and immediate response to issues.
  • Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and technical teams to execute production priorities in line with the mine plan.
  • Record and report real-time data, including delays, equipment breakdowns, and productivity metrics.
  • Manage daily shift plans and adjust fleet allocations in response to equipment availability, weather, and operational priorities.
  • Support accurate reporting of load counts, cycle times, fuel usage, and dig locations.
  • Escalate and document any system issues or discrepancies in performance to relevant departments.
  • Maintain situational awareness of all active mining areas and support emergency protocols when required.
