Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This permanent full-time position will involve working on all aspects of heavy diesel mechanics and mobile plant equipment fitting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Commitment - Ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to industry standards
  • Overhauling hydraulic and mechanical components on various equipment
  • Undertaking diagnostic work, failure analysis and repairs; collaborating with technical specialists when required
  • Completing and submitting relevant paperwork and reports
  • Servicing as a mentor and coach for apprentices

Requirements:
  • Trade Qualifications - A minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience & Skillset - Proven experience in heavy diesel mechanics and field service fitting with a demonstrated understanding of construction equipment
  • A positive attitude towards teamwork
  • Strong analytical skills - Ability to navigate complex technical issues with minimal rework
  • Efficient productivity - Initiative to plan work fronts effectively
