Job Overview

The role of Category Manager Logistics involves leading strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and contracts across Logistics Categories including Transport, International Logistics, Manual Handling Equipment and Warehousing. This position will drive performance and risk management, contributing to the company's strategic change and customer satisfaction.

This is an opportunity for a highly skilled professional to make a significant impact on the organization's logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing category strategies aligned with the company's Supply Chain Transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the six-step sourcing process: demand analysis, supply analysis, sourcing strategy development, execution of sourcing process, contract execution and contract life cycle management.
  • Develop category strategies for Transport, International Logistics and Manual Handling Equipment categories.
  • Collaborate closely with the Transport Team as a business partner to aid in executing transport/transformation strategy objectives.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT AND EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION.
  • Establish, develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders within Logistics Categories.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experienced and knowledgeable across supply chain and logistics (including CoR).
  • Strong category management experience.
  • Success in developing and executing sound, customer-focused category plans.
  • A drive and desire to achieve excellent outcomes in a competitive market.
  • Ability to work autonomously and part of a wider team.
