Are you a highly skilled engineer looking for a challenging role in the public cloud? We are seeking an experienced ASW DevOps Platform Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to design, implement, and roll out updates and improvements to the AWS platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver new capabilities and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation frameworks that align to existing policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a roadmap of system integrations with the public cloud platform.
  • Evaluate the platform's fit for purpose and ensure it integrates with required tooling such as SIEM, APM, SRM, ITSM.
  • Implement code CI/CD delivery pipelines that provide automated deployments of systems into the landing zone, adhering to security, operational, and cloud standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience with AWS networking infrastructure including Direct Connect, Network Firewalls, Transit Gateways.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-As-Code, specifically Cloud Formation.
  • Experience with using AWS Build and Deploy tools such as AWS Code Build, Code Deploy, Code Pipeline.
  • Highly proficient in using Python and other programming languages.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Splunk or similar log analyzers.
  • Experience in automation and delivering automated solutions.
  • Good experience of working with stakeholders from application teams to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
