Theatre Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Orderly to join our preoperative team at Norwest Private Hospital. As a Theatre Orderly, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective patient handling and positioning, as well as maintaining a safe patient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre
- Provide safe effective patient handling and positioning
- Setting up of theatre
- Maintaining a safe patient environment including the setup and cleaning of theatres during procedures
- Providing support to the nursing staff
Requirements:
- Theatre Orderly experience within the Health Care Industry – (Desirable)
- Working with Children check
- Police Check
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster AM & PM Monday – Friday
- Works well independently and within a multidisciplinary team
