Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrub/Scout Theatre Nurse to join our team in a beautiful rural area. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Working in a small theatre environment, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room, managing surgical instruments and equipment, and working closely with the surgical team.
- Scrubbing in and assisting the surgeon during procedures, ensuring a sterile surgical environment and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Preparing and maintaining surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to their needs, and accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and full working rights in Australia.
- Substantial experience as a Scrub/Scout Theatre Nurse, preferably in a similar setting.
- Profound knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control practices.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
