Foxleigh Mine is a premier coal mining facility, located 15km south of Middlemount and approximately 275km northwest of Rockhampton. With over two decades of operational experience, we continue to produce high-quality PCI metallurgical coal for steel manufacturing.
We take pride in our people-first culture, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our Coal Mine Workers and the overall success of the operation.
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in open-cut coal mining operations, with expertise in operating various equipment including haul trucks, dozers, graders, and excavators. Additionally, they should have a strong safety mindset, be proactive in identifying hazards, and hold current RII Statements of Attainment relevant to their equipment.
We offer a competitive remuneration package, flexible travel options, camp accommodation, meals, company-supplied transport, and a 7/7 day/night rotating roster.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in open-cut coal mining operations
- Operating ancillary equipment and haul trucks (CAT 785/789/793 & KOM 830E)
- Proficiency in operating Dozers (CAT D10T, D11T) and Graders (CAT 14H,16H, 24H)
- Experience with excavators (LIB 994, 996, 9800, HIT 3600, 5500) an advantage
- A strong safety mindset with hazard identification and reporting capabilities
- Current RII Statements of Attainment relevant to equipment
- Site authorised training transcripts
- Standard 11 certification
- Valid driver's licence
