We are seeking a Mining Engineer to deliver optimal mining services and support.

The successful candidate will report to the Technical Services Manager and be responsible for managing mining operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging experience of haulage and dump designs to optimise mine plans.
  • Managing short to medium term (up to 18 months) mining strategies and mine plans.

A tertiary qualified Mining Engineer with at least 3 years post graduate experience gained in an open cut environment is required.

Desirable skills and attributes include:

  • Short to medium term design, planning and scheduling within an open cut operation.
  • Experience in driving best practices through the business.
