Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Operations Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading warehouse and logistics operations, with a strong focus on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

About the Role:
  • Lead daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring seamless delivery of products to customers;
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and improve processes;
  • Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they meet performance expectations;
  • Collaborate with production managers to align delivery schedules with production timelines, ensuring just-in-time delivery;
  • Maintain accurate stock control, oversee stocktakes, and ensure system updates;
  • Build strong relationships with carriers, transport providers, clients, and on-site contacts;
  • Drive continuous improvements across warehouse and logistics operations, including process and technology enhancements;
  • Manage team performance through mentoring, coaching, and reviews;
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, transport safety, and warehouse regulations;
  • Report on warehouse utilisation, dispatch performance, and logistics KPIs, with recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse/logistics management in manufacturing;
  • Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams;
  • Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory management, and dispatch systems;
  • Experience in inbound/outbound logistics, including scheduling and transport planning;
  • Ability to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and improve processes;
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams;
  • Highly organised, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Solid understanding of WHS, transport safety, and compliance requirements;
  • Proficiency in MS Office; ERP/warehouse systems experience desirable;
  • Permanent working rights in Australia.
