Warehouse and Logistics Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead our daily warehouse and logistics operations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and develop a team of warehouse staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inbound deliveries, storage, stock control, and outbound dispatch. They will also develop and implement strategies to optimize costs and resources, ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Aligning staffing, trucks, and equipment with operational demands through workload forecasting
  • Overseeing deliveries to customers and external providers, ensuring accuracy and correct documentation
  • Managing inbound logistics, ensuring supplier deliveries are received, checked, and stored correctly
  • Maintaining accurate stock control, overseeing stocktakes, and ensuring system updates
  • Collaborating with Production Manager to align delivery schedules with production timelines

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse/logistics management in manufacturing (reinforcement steel advantageous)
  • Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams
  • Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory management, and dispatch systems
  • Experience in inbound/outbound logistics, including scheduling and transport planning
