Logistics Coordinator Role
- Coordinate and book all incoming and outgoing delivery timeslots for multiple sites, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
The role involves being the interface between logistics, inventory, and warehouse teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Investigating and resolving delivery rejections and discrepancies.
- Performing accurate data entry into systems and maintaining records.
- Maintaining active communication with stakeholders.
- Comparing freight quotes with invoices and escalating discrepancies.
- Providing an effective interface between logistics, inventory, and warehouse teams.
- Facilitating timeslot loads for internal warehouses and 3rd party logistics.
This is a key position within our organization, requiring a mature and reliable individual who can think critically and make sound decisions under pressure. Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience in a similar transport operations or logistics coordination role.
- A strong understanding of the road transport industry.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- The ability to work independently and take initiative.
