Job Summary

We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join our team in the Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy department. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the direction of a Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day activities in all aspects of care
  • Provide functional mobility, planned exercise programs, falls prevention strategy, cardiac education, and maintenance therapy
  • Work collaboratively with the therapy team to deliver exceptional patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance (Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy)
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven time management and organisational skills
  • High standards of customer service and a team approach
