Position Overview:

This role involves assisting clients by overseeing a small team to prepare financial and management accounting reports and their tax compliance obligations. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to identify issues and provide proactive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and review financial statements, preparation of management reports, preparation of review of entities income tax and BAS/IAS returns, preparation of interim financial accounts and providing tax planning proposals, preparation and analysis of management reports, prepare, analyse and review accounts, financial data presentation, reviewing work of team members.

About You:

  • You hold a CA or CPA qualification or are working towards it.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience working in an Australian Public Practice firm.
  • You are proficient in Xero and MYOB.
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are extremely organised and a team player.
  • You love to take initiative and work independently.
  • You can build trust and relationships with clients.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills.
  • You can adapt to change and work in a pleasant environment.

Requirements: Candidates must reside in Australia and have permanent work rights with no restrictions.
