Job Title: Service Operations Director

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of services and IT operations for a leading business in agriculture and horticulture.

Key Purpose:

  • Develop and implement service delivery strategies in partnership with outsourcing vendors.
  • Coordinate and manage support operations, ensuring high-quality services are maintained across the business.
  • Collaborate with the IT leadership team to deliver IT services, including new service transitions or changes to existing services.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of IT support, including quality systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee the performance of outsourced partners against contractor service levels.
  • Build long-term strategic partnerships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Establish service level agreements across IT, implementing new projects and programs.
  • Develop and execute IT strategies and direction.
  • Embody a customer-centric approach and mindset.
  • Lead and influence teams effectively.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience within IT and operations, able to work alongside outsourcing suppliers.

This role requires a strong understanding of project management and transitioning new technology into a Business as Usual (BAU) environment. The business offers a flexible working environment with car parking available onsite.
