As a Lifestyle Activities Officer at RetireAustralia, you will play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant and fulfilling community for our residents at our Belrose Country Club Retirement Village.
Your mission is to bring joy into the daily experiences of our residents while coordinating a wide range of wellness and leisure programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, coordinate, and deliver wellness programs covering exercise, movement, diet, purpose, well-being, and social support.
- Steer residents towards enjoyable outings using our resident bus.
- Sourcing content, producing, and distributing weekly newsletters containing village updates.
- Crafting a social calendar designed to facilitate resident interaction.
- Planning, organizing, and coordinating village events and bus trips for residents' enjoyment.
- Delivering monthly reports to the Village Activities Committee.
- Driving residents to and from any external locations as required.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position.
- Experience within the retirement industry (advantageous).
- Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Leisure and Health (desirable).
- Bus Licence or willingness to obtain (desirable).
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
