Software Test Engineer – .Net

Are you passionate about software engineering and testing? Do you want to be part of a pioneering global leader in the material handling industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Test Engineer – .Net to join our Global Product and Solutions team in Belrose.

As a Software Test Engineer – .Net, you will be responsible for testing high-quality software for large-scale warehouse automation projects. You will collaborate with an amazing team of engineers to deliver industry-leading software to warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing sites across APAC.

What you will be working on:

  • Writing and executing test plans
  • Coordinating Factory and Site Testing Specifications and reports for assigned projects
  • Participating in code reviews
  • Planning and coordinating all testing activities
  • Providing leadership to other less experienced team members
  • Providing assistance to the IT Engineering group for customer support as required
  • Providing product expertise to support the sales process as required
  • Following the Dematic development quality processes and procedures
  • Actively contributing to the improvement of software testing processes
  • Taking an active role in the development team processes to improve product testability
  • Contributing to a development environment that fosters technical excellence and teamwork

Requirements:

  • 3 – 4 years Software Test Engineering experience
  • A Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
  • A solid understanding of .NET, C#, and SQLServer
  • Experience developing Test Automation and using scripting languages e.g. Ruby, Python
  • Experience testing software solutions in the mechatronics/robotics/automation domains
  • A sound knowledge of MS Office applications
  • An understanding of OHS requirements
  • Willingness and availability to travel to customer sites throughout the Asia Pacific region during site commissioning stages (up to 2 months at a time)
