Senior Reliability Engineer

Horizon Power is seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our electrical transmission and distribution team, you will play a critical role in shaping the energy future of Western Australia.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement analysis methods to determine the performance of electrical transmission and distribution systems, with a focus on improving system reliability.
  • Review and analyze Horizon Power's electrical transmission and distribution system reliability performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing pragmatic solutions.
  • Develop and manage reliability-driven strategies and improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of electrical transmission and distribution assets.
  • Promote long-term strategic programs to increase the efficiency of Horizon Power's assets, aligning with our long-term planning objectives.
What You'll Need:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with suitable professional qualifications and experience.
  • Considerable experience in an electrical utility operations or maintenance environment.
  • Strong analytical and data mining skills, with the ability to perform reliability-based data analysis using contemporary tools and methodology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
