Job Description

Robert Bosch Group is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Reliability Student Engineer to join our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Department on a full-time basis.

You will gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include:

  • Gaining knowledge and experience in electronics and mechanical R&D environment
  • Gaining knowledge and experience in real-world product testing
  • Assisting engineers in the coordination and execution of the validation test program for automotive and non-automotive products against industry standards
  • Assisting engineers in the documentation of software requirements for testing and implementation of software test cases
  • Writing and releasing test report(s)

Requirements

To be considered for our Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (Electronics or Mechatronics)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Have a basic understanding of Programming Languages (C#, C++, Python, etc.) and CAD tools (i.e. PTC Creo, Solidworks, Altium, etc.)
  • An understanding of the role reliability engineering plays in the product lifecycle.
  • A good understanding of electronic circuits, mechanical design theory, and statistical methods and analysis is highly regarded.
  • Experience working within a cross-functional team environment preferred.
  • Passion for self-drive, pro-activeness, and accountability would be desirable.
