About the Role:
The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the manufacturing site in Coolaroo, Victoria. This includes managing employee relations, achieving operational EBITDA targets, and driving improvement programs to enhance plant efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations to achieve satisfactory outcomes for all parties involved.
- Achieve operational EBITDA targets in line with KPIs and budget.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve plant efficiencies and drive cost reduction programs.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the leadership team to ensure the site operates effectively.
- Manage the MRP for supply, usage, and future planning of stock control.
- Ensure OHS KPIs are conducted as per business requirements.
- Develop and maintain a safety and environmental plant culture.
- Manage operational wages and salary in line with KPIs and budget.
- Develop daily and monthly KPIs to track progress.
- Manage the site using LEAN methodology.
- Involve in recruitment process to ensure the right people are engaged in the business.
Requirements:
- Work experience managing a team in a process manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage meetings.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to train and train others.
