Job Title: Educational Support Specialist

About the Position:

The role of Educational Support Specialist provides crucial front-line administrative and coordination assistance to a dedicated team. The specialist manages inquiries, coordinates meetings, processes documentation, enters data, and supports events and core team functions.

This position requires a proactive and agile mindset, with a commitment to inclusive and accessible education. The specialist will contribute to continuous improvement, embracing innovative approaches to enhance service delivery in line with our values.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

  • Administrative and Coordination Experience: Demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative support within a student-facing or service delivery environment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and empathetically with diverse student populations and internal stakeholders.
  • Organisational and Time Management Skills: Proven ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple workflows, and maintain accurate records within a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with using Microsoft Office suite, Excel, and student record systems; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Student-Centred Approach: Commitment to inclusive and accessible education with sensitivity to the needs of students with disabilities, mental health conditions, and carers.
  • Team Collaboration: Capacity to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
