Role Overview:
A Secondary Teacher opportunity exists at the Joshua Centre, where you can empower students with Autism to thrive and reach their full potential.
This exciting role offers flexibility in allocated FTE, allowing for a tailored work arrangement that suits your needs.
The Joshua Centre provides a supportive and personalised learning environment, with classes capped at 12 students and a dedicated full-time aide.
About the Position:
We are seeking an educator who shares our vision of seeing students with Autism not just survive, but thrive and be bold and courageous in their learning, social connection and wellbeing.
As a Secondary Classroom Teacher, you will be part of a collaborative team committed to achieving long-term educational outcomes related to student understanding and dispositions for life-long learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of subjects across Years 7 to 9
- Have experience in autistic education
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
