An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Surgical Office Administrator to join our team in Claremont, WA.

As a key member of our office staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy surgical practice. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to our surgeons and medical staff, handling patient enquiries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating surgical theatre bookings with ease.

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as high levels of attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment. If you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn new skills, and a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities:

- Providing administrative support to our surgeons and medical staff

- Handling patient enquiries and scheduling appointments

- Coordinating surgical theatre bookings

- Maintaining accurate records and files

- Assisting with billing and payment processing

**Requirements:

- Proficiency with practice management software (Gentu or Genie)

- Experience and knowledge of surgical billing practices, including Medicare, private health funds, ICWA, and Workers' Compensation

- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
