We are currently seeking a skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at the Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre (MAPrc). As a key member of our research team, you will play a vital role in supporting the coordination of clinical trials and studies.



About the Role

This exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse to work within the TMS Clinical Research Unit at MAPrc. The primary purpose of this position is recruitment and coordination of participants for current interventional clinical trials, investigating TMS treatment in depression.




  • Conduct recruitment related activities and procedures to enhance recruitment of participants into a number of clinical treatment trials being conducted by the TMS Clinical Research Unit at MAPrc.
  • Promote and advertise the study to ensure maximum participant engagement.
  • Assess suitable participants for inclusion in the trial and conduct clinical measures as required.
  • Collect and enter data into relevant systems, including minor data analysis and preparation of data for publication.
  • Liaise with other research staff to ensure effective collaboration and communication.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:




  • A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or closely related field OR substantial relevant skills and work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in subject recruitment with proven ability to establish rapport with patients.
  • Highly organised with proven ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop positive and constructive working relationships both internally and externally.
  • The ability to work independently in a research environment and as part of an interdisciplinary research team.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the capability and willingness to learn new packages as appropriate.
