Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to support our Financial Services line of business.

  • To drive and deliver accurate budgets, forecasts and long-range plans, incorporating financial & non-financial metrics aligned to our strategy
  • Detailed analysis of business drivers and competitor performance to identify insights and trends. Present findings and recommendations to leadership team
  • Own month-end revenue close and results
  • Develop and maintain the forecast revenue model for Financial Services
  • Manage, coordinate and own the valuation of the Trail Book, working closely with the FS data team
  • Lead financial modelling for new initiatives and partnerships - work with stakeholders to deliver financially viable strategies on new business models
  • Collaborate, coach and support Commercial Analysts across expense close, forecasting, opex/capex analysis and reporting
  • Handle and interpret large datasets and work with the Financial Services data team to uncover insights that support decision making
  • Respond to opportunities to improve current processes, systems and tools
  • Maintain strong financial control discipline, ensuring relevant SOX compliance requirements
  • Proactively partner with key stakeholders
  • Drive improvements in reporting/analysis for management team, executive leadership and Board level reporting
  • Stay up-to-date with mortgage industry and market trends, proactively identify and manage internal and external financial risks and opportunities
