About the Role:
This key position is responsible for technical project management, automation, testing, consolidation, risk management, and quality assurance of large-scale enterprise IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage technical projects from planning to deployment for large zSeries infrastructure upgrades
- Automate storage processes to reduce manual interventions
- Evaluate new software and explore advanced functionalities
- Streamline and simplify complex infrastructure configurations
- Identify and mitigate risks and costs associated with infrastructure deployments
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and performance targets are met
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to achieve business objectives
- Design, configure, test, implement, and support zSeries Storage solutions
Requirements:
- Proven experience in zSeries Storage Management/Engineering or equivalent
- Experience working with major vendors like IBM, DELL, Broadcom
- Leadership or significant involvement in large-scale infrastructure deployment projects
- Expertise in change, incident, and problem management within large-scale enterprise IT environments
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative development
- In-depth knowledge of security, audit, risk, and compliance in enterprise IT
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in large-scale IBM z/OS environments
- Advanced storage and data migration expertise
- High-availability mainframe storage solutions design and implementation
