Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Infrastructure Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the development of technical solutions within the Mainframe environment.

This is a permanent position based in Kogarah, Sydney, with opportunities for career growth and development.

  • Lead the design and implementation of mainframe infrastructure solutions;
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure high-quality documentation and deliverables;
  • Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical infrastructure solutions;
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve mainframe infrastructure efficiency and effectiveness;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant IT industry experience working with Mainframes;
  • Experience in complex IT infrastructure environments incorporating planning, implementation, configuration, and maintenance;
  • A strong understanding of mainframe infrastructure, including IMS TM, CICS, MQ, and other mainframe infrastructures;
  • The ability to navigate around the mainframe platform;
  • A good understanding of mainframe capacity;
  • Keen attention to detail;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
