Employment Coach Role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Coach to join our team in a dynamic environment. As an Employment Coach, you will work closely with participants to identify their skills and potential barriers to employment, helping them achieve their employment goals.

In this role, you will be part of a supportive and results-driven team dedicated to wellbeing, independence, and opportunity for everyone. Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Building positive relationships with employers and participants to promote employment opportunities
  • Providing support to develop skills and abilities, achieving sustainable employment outcomes for participants
  • Referencing participants through training, counselling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes

About the Role

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations
  • Self-motivation and initiative, with well-developed organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks and priorities
  • Interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems

Requirements

You will need to be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check, and be eligible to work in Australia.
