Employment Support Specialist

We are seeking driven individuals who thrive on helping others.

This role is perfect for those with a strong sense of empathy and compassion for people living with disability, illness, injury, or employment barriers.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, maintain composure under pressure, and have a background in customer service, sales, retail, call centers, hospitality, consulting, business development, or administration.

A comprehensive training program is provided to equip you for success in this role.

To be considered, you must:

  • Have full Australian working rights
  • Hold a full Australian driver's license
  • Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
  • Be able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrate key attributes: Customer Centricity, Curiosity, Resilience, Adaptability, Creativity and a Growth Mindset

Your day-to-day activities will involve:

  • Building rapport with participants to understand their needs, interests, skills, and experience
  • Assessing barriers towards employment and creating solutions to support them at work and beyond
  • Developing job plans with participants to support clear pathways into sustainable employment
  • Increasing employability through training and other support services
  • Sourcing employment opportunities through networking and sales strategies
  • Maintaining relationships with potential employers and community organizations
