About the Role
  • Manage a caseload of participants with mental health disabilities and provide tailored, person-centred support that empowers them to achieve their employment goals.
  • Deliver services using evidence-based practices — the most effective approach to employment for people with mental illness.
  • Support participants through every step of their journey: vocational profiling, job search, resume and interview preparation, placement, post-placement support and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strive to exceed individual and team performance targets, delivering sustainable employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the service.
  • Build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, ensuring wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.

  • Collaboration with multi-disciplinary professionals including Psychologists, OTs, Speech Pathologists, and Rehabilitation Consultants.

Requirements
  • A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification (Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field).
  • Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with participants, their families and caregivers.
