About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Business Director to lead our Defence Market growth strategy in Australia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business development, client management, and market expansion in the Defence sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the Defence Market, aligning with Beca's overall business objectives.
  • Client Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Market Development: Collaborate with the Defence Market Director to develop and implement business development strategies, expanding market presence in the ACT and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the team, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to meet revenue and profit targets.
  • Team Development: Grow a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a collaborative culture and ensuring the development and retention of key talent.
About You

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in the Defence and National Security market. You will have a proven track record of growing a Defence portfolio in a consulting or contracting environment. Your excellent networking and influencing skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
