About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned industry leader to join our Customer Advisory team in Canberra and work closely with the wider team to foster mid- to long-term strategic relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align with Sales Territory: The Industry Leader will work closely with the Sales Territory leadership to understand customer needs and develop strategic relationships to drive business growth.
  • GTM Planning and Execution
    • Create go-to-market (GTM) strategies and planning for Public Sector business, aligning with sales territory leadership.
    • Drive execution of GTM plans, contributing to the transformation of customers from both the business and IT perspectives.
  • Business Development and Account Planning
    • Identify and communicate key value propositions to customers in the domain, owning and executing the business development plan.
    • Support account planning initiatives by working with the sales team to identify customer needs and relevant account strategies.
  • Partner Strategy and Deal Qualification
    • Identify the right partner strategy for the industry, collaborating with partners to leverage their capabilities and resources to drive customer success and revenue growth.
    • Execute periodic deal qualification, demand management, bid management, and marketing activities as part of the GTM plan for the industry.
  • RFP/RFI Response Proposal Preparation
    • Own the SAS response to any RFP/RFI in the region, working with all stakeholders to prepare compelling proposals within the specified deadline.
    • Maintain all collateral related to SAS solution presentations, technical & commercial proposals submitted in response to RFI/RFQ/RFP's.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated business experience in the industry as strategy business consultant or solution presales/consultant.
  • Demonstrated experience in Advanced Analytics and AI/ML domain in Public Sector - SAS knowledge and experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in defining business technology solutions and how they will fit into a customer's business and technical environment.
  • Proven experience in interacting and communicating with C-level executives, conveying thought leadership and value propositions effectively.
  • Expertise in value selling, understanding customer needs, and tailoring solutions to drive business value and achieve customer outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and territory, enabling the identification of customer needs and the development of tailored solutions to drive business growth.
