Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse environment and a proven track record of managing teams and driving business growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating and resolving customer complaints and enquiries
  • Making decisions on adjustments, refunds, and customer service
  • Recruiting, training, and developing sales and warehouse staff
  • Staying up-to-date with all products sold in the business
  • Initiating suggestions for improving the business
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy store that meets OH&S standards
  • Presenting merchandise and fixtures well at all times
  • E nsuring all staff are ready to start work at the right time
  • Creating new business opportunities
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Taking an active role in counter and phone sales
  • Communicating daily operations between sales departments and the warehouse
  • Measuring staff performance to achieve personal and team targets
  • Managing fast and slow-moving stock effectively

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We require previous experience in a warehouse environment. You should have a customer-centric approach and be able to handle multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. Key skills include:
