About this Role

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of civil engineering and infrastructure markets paired with an innate confidence to influence executive decisions, drive diversification, and align new opportunities with operational capability and delivery. Requirements include:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (essential);
  • Executive-level experience in business development, strategy, and commercial leadership;
  • Strong knowledge of the civil construction market across QLD, NSW, and nationally;
  • Demonstrated ability to engage credibly and authentically with clients, partners, and government stakeholders;
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that convert strategy into action;
  • Proven ability to navigate complex commercial environments and long-cycle opportunities;
  • Strategic agility, political awareness, and comfort with ambiguity, with the credibility to influence from day one.
