Business Insights Analyst

At Atlassian, we are seeking a skilled Business Insights Analyst to join our Data Tech Insights org.

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can leverage data to drive business outcomes and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support financial planning and analysis.
  • Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to finance and cross-functional partners.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity in all analytics deliverables.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business analytics, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel/Google Sheets) and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working in a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
