Executive Support Specialist

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join the State of North Dakota as an Executive Support Specialist. The successful candidate will work in the Life Skills and Transition Center (LSTC) in Grafton, ND.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, staff, and individuals, offering assistance and direction.
- Coordinate conference room and facility scheduling.
- Screen and direct phone calls, and handle communications for staff and individuals supported.
- Call recreational and community agencies for price checks and equipment.
- Arrange travel for unit activities.
- Ensure lodging and special needs are addressed.
- Participate in committees and attend general building meetings.
- Maintain and troubleshoot office equipment.
- Assist in living areas and the lobby when needed.
- Support the Superintendent and Unit Directors with administrative tasks.
- Manage recordkeeping.
Requirements
- An associate degree with major coursework in office support or business or office education.
- One year of work experience performing a variety of office support, clerical, or secretarial work.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $43,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. The State of North Dakota offers a strong and competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
