**About Our Research Office**

The research office plays a vital role in supporting research activities across our institution. We are adopting a new operational team structure to continuously improve how we support our researchers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide administrative support to our committees, including ethics and biosafety committees.
- Develop standard processes and procedures to enhance research excellence.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and regulatory organisations.
- Contribute to office-wide projects and perform general administrative duties.

**Selection Criteria:**

We are seeking a candidate who can:

  • Demonstrate accuracy, literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
  • Prioritise tasks to achieve outstanding results.
  • Develop knowledge of current legislation, standards, and codes of practice relating to human research ethics and animal welfare.
  • Utilise strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solve problems effectively.

**Requirements:**

- A certificate or diploma in business administration or equivalent experience.

- Prior experience acting as a committee secretary would be an advantage.
