**Grants Manager Role Overview**

This role focuses on managing all aspects of pre-award research grant administration, ensuring smooth coordination and timely completion.

  • Developing and implementing effective financial management strategies for cost centres and expenditure statements.
  • Negotiating research agreements that align with organisational goals.
  • Providing expert advice and support to Institute staff on research grant-related matters.

About the Position

This position requires a highly organised individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands. Experience in research agreement administration or knowledge of intellectual property and research policies is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for pre-award research grant administration.
  2. Negotiate and execute research agreements that meet organisational objectives.
  3. Provide guidance and support to Institute staff on research grant-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in research agreement administration or knowledge of intellectual property and research policies.
