We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our product development team. The successful candidate will work closely with internal specialists and insurer partners to identify business opportunities, assess commercial viability, and translate these into actionable stories for our delivery teams.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing change requests, assessing technical and commercial fit, and refining requirements with developers and technical teams.

You will also be involved in leading refinement sessions, validating completed work before it heads to QA, and keeping documentation up-to-date. Additionally, you will partner with underwriters and insurer teams to clarify pricing and product changes.

To be successful in this role, you should have 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a product-heavy environment. You should also possess a strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks, proficiency in Jira and Confluence, and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyzing insurer requests with senior colleagues to assess technical and commercial fit
  • Turning concepts into clear Jira tickets, including requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Leading refinement sessions with developers and technical teams to ensure delivery clarity
  • Validating completed work before it heads to QA and keeping documentation up-to-date
  • Partnering with underwriters and insurer teams to clarify pricing and product changes

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a product-heavy environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and writing testable user stories
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence; document management experience is beneficial
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with excellent communication skills
