**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Resource Recovery Team as a Centre Operator.

This is a full-time position with weekend and weekday shifts on a rostered basis. The ideal candidate will meet the qualifications outlined in the Position Description below and provide exceptional customer service in resource recovery activities and support operations at the centre.

The successful candidate will work across all aspects of the centre including transfer station, plant operation, second-hand shop, and weighbridge.

**Key Responsibilities**

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Operating the resource recovery centre efficiently and effectively
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients
  • Supporting operations at the centre
  • Working collaboratively with the team to achieve goals

  • A strong understanding of resource recovery principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Benefits**

This opportunity offers a permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week) working as part of a rotating roster inclusive of weekends. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $1,190.06 to $1,378.87 per 38-hour week (dependent upon skills and experience).
