Centre Support Lead

The role of Centre Support Lead is a critical position within the Emergency Communication Services department. It involves overseeing centre management and operations to ensure 24/7 functionality.

  • Manage and maintain centres and critical infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance for 24/7 operations.
  • Lead, coach and develop centre support teams to improve performance, customer satisfaction and outcomes through enhanced systems and processes.
  • Provide support and advice on centre and operational matters to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal departments, external stakeholders and contractors.
  • Oversee contract management, including vendor meetings and SLA/KPI management.
Requirements:
  • Proven breadth of knowledge and experience in project management, maintenance management or business management.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise competing demands and priorities in a regulated environment.
  • Qualifications or knowledge in building trades or building maintenance are advantageous.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite of tools and other software relevant to the role.
