About Acute Care GP/Medical Officers

We are seeking experienced General Practitioners to provide remote patient care and apply medical knowledge and experience in the clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and ongoing management of acute conditions for patients in their homes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Apply theoretical knowledge and practical experience in determining the appropriate clinical diagnosis, investigations, and treatment of patients with acute conditions in line with clinical risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Work across a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends, and participate in shifts from 8am to 4:30pm, 12pm to 8:30pm, 3pm to 10pm, and a mop up shift of 4pm to 8pm, as well as some on call requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • Full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner with at least 5 years' experience as medical registrar, General Practitioner and/or with specialty interest.
