Medicinal Cannabis Specialist

This is a fascinating opportunity to take on a challenging role as a Medicinal Cannabis Specialist in our clinic.

We are seeking a Medical Practitioner with experience in assessing and managing patients with chronic pain and/or mental health conditions, who can prescribe medicinal cannabis products in accordance with best clinical practice and relevant regulations.

  • Conduct face-to-face patient assessments and/or telehealth consultations
  • Prescribe medicinal cannabis products, undertaking structured patient follow-up consultations and providing ongoing care
  • Liaise with other healthcare practitioners for holistic care coordination

Maintain accurate medical records and confidentiality, upholding good clinical practice.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well within a team.

Key Requirements:
  • General registration as a Medical Practitioner
  • Experience in assessing and managing patients with chronic pain and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to prescribe medicinal cannabis products
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
