At Qantas, we're seeking a strategic and data-driven leader to join our team as Manager Performance Improvement.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in a dynamic aviation environment while contributing to the future of Network Aviation and the Qantas Group.

  • We're looking for someone with a minimum 5 years' experience in an operational environment (aviation and/or performance improvement experience highly regarded)
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex and incomplete data sets
  • They will be able to translate data into actionable insights and influence business outcomes
  • Experience in change management and implementing operational improvements in partnership with stakeholders is highly valued
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential, with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams, is required
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines are also necessary
About the Role

You'll have the opportunity to lead a small team of analysts focused on enhancing On-Time Performance (OTP) and driving operational excellence.

In this role, you'll analyse performance data to uncover root causes and improvement opportunities and develop insights that inform strategic decisions.

You'll also develop tools to monitor performance, manage operational risk, and support continuous improvement.
